ROME | The Eternal City!

Photos by: @crisgemelgo

This time our travelling plan started in Rome. I’ve never been to Italy so I was very excited for this trip.
From the airport we had a private transfer that took us to the B&B in the city centre. Let me tell you that we chose to stay in B&B, Home away and small hotels and it was a good choice.
On the first day the journey began with a stroll down the nearby Spanish Steps which were covered in flowers, then we walked to Fontana di Trevi for the typical “make a wish” throwing a coin into the fountain!

On the second day we obtained a unique perspective of Rome from the top of a double decker bus. From the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Circus to the Vatican and every single  building and Piazza, the view is breathtaking.

For three days I explored, walked, rushed in the middle of the crowds and I was absolutely in love with the light that fell perfectly all over the city.

One of the things that got me surprised is that you rarely find new buildings, “old” is definitely the new “style”. Wherever you go you feel the ancient Roman history around you: it’s an open air museum!

On the fourth day we took a train to Firenze. Keep an eye on the next post.

Tips: be careful with the traffic;  buy a bus/metro ticket for the days you want to stay it’s cheaper.

I would never of thought about giving boots like this a try but you rock them so much that I have ordered them in both colours. Well done to Fashion World on having something so versatile available for plus size women - we love fashion and looking good too
